My Aunt Bonny sent me this book, Joy comes in the Morning by Jonathan Rosen.
I really enjoyed the writing. He has a light, humorous style. There are some very funny scenes
in this book!
There is a strong theme in this book concerning Jewish religion and Jewish identity. Probably this book will be
more interesting to people who are Jewish, although I should think that non-Jews would also
enjoy it. It is about a female Jewish rabbi who is trying to sort out her life. She meets this guy, who
is not terribly religious, and dates him.
Well I don't want to reveal all the subplots. But generally it is an interesting book, that will take
you about a week to read. I gave it to Val, and she could not put it down!
So I can definitely reccomend it to you!
