Gordon Dickson is one of my favorite sci-fi authors. Regrettably,
he died in 2001.
He wrote the Dragon Knight series. It's about Jim, who gets
turned into a dragon. It sounds a little like fantasy,
but it is laced with some very clever science.
I was so disappointed when Gordon Dickson died- because I felt
like all his characters died with him. They were so real that I felt
like I knew them.
Also I love his short stories. All very clever twists!
His imagination was unstoppable!
