Vote No on the Recall- Keep Gray Davis!
The California recall is a terrible idea. It plunges California into an unstable state. If we recall
this governor, surely we will recall the next governor pretty soon, too. It's a mess.
Governor Davis was fairly elected in 2002. Why should he be recalled? Has he lied, cheated, stolen? No.
But instead, we are wasting time and resources on another campaign race. Meanwhile, the business of the
state is not being done.
And we cannot mention this recall election without mentioning Arnold. Arnold has no elective experience.
Further, he has not specified any position on a number of issues. Does he have a detailed plan?
All I have heard is that he wants to "clean house". Governor Davis is at least a politician who
understands how to work with people. Arnold has also not released his full financial records.
What does he have to hide?
If anyone wants to run against the Governor, let them run in 2006. Now is not the right time. Let Gray
Davis do what we elected him to do, there is much important work to be done!
